Abacus are recruiting for an Office Administrator for a very busy Operations Office within a company that trades and recycles industrial plastic
Duties:
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office
- Assist with UK and export logistics paperwork
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of client information
- Create and update records and databases for personnel, financial, and other data
- Perform general clerical duties, including photocopying, scanning and emailing
- Answer and direct phone calls in a professional manner
- Assist in the preparation of regularly scheduled reports on production and sales
- Maintain office supplies and re-order when necessary
- Assist with bookkeeping tasks using Xero accounting software
- Manage filing systems, both electronic and hard copies
Skills:
- Proven experience as an office administrator or in a similar role
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise work effectively
- Proficient in using computerised systems, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Accurate data entry skills with attention to detail
- Ability to type

EXPECTED START DATE - ASAP
Job Types: Part-time. Permanent, following an initial probationary period
Pay: Up to £27,000 per year for full time, fewer hours pro rata
Expected hours: Minimum 20 per week, days and times negotiable, but a minimum of 4 days per week.
