Our client based in Newbury is recruiting for a Office & Transport Team Administrator!
Please note that this is a hybrid role where the candidates time will be allocated between the Office Admin and the Transport team. This time allocation will be structured and agreed on a daily weekly basis between the Office and Transport Manager.
Qualifications:
· GCSE Maths and English minimum.
Experience:
· 2-year minimum experience in an office environment
· Experience within an account’s office an advantage
Skills:
· MS Office Suite: Primarily Excel, Word and Outlook.
· Displaying effective communication both orally and in writing, while possessing an excellent telephone manner.
· Must have the ability to multitask, working on your own initiative with minimal supervision and having a conscientious and thorough approach to work.
· Ability to successfully prioritise, manage time and resources, displaying effective organisational skills.
· Have a flexible approach to work and display a willingness to undertake varied responsibilities, working alone or as part of a team.
· Punctual, polite, professional, and courteous towards customers.
Main Duties: Reporting to the Office Manager
· Updating and recording holiday requisitions.
· Entering Weekly Agency Timesheets.
· Raising Purchase Orders for various departments.
· Monitoring Stock Room levels.
· Handle telephone and e-mail queries.
· Assist with daily office operations as required.
· Maintain an up-to-date filing system.
Main Duties: Reporting to the Office Manager
· Updating weekly transport and despatch schedules in Excel.
· Liaison with existing customers to manage transport bookings & requirements.
· Liaison with own transport fleet and 3rd party providers.
· Managing and tracking all fleet, 3rd party & fuel costs.
· Participate in transport spend tracking and internal reporting.
· Assist with daily transport team and office operations as required.
Job Type: Full-time – 42.5 hrs per week 08:00 to 17:00 Monday to Friday (0.5 hour for lunch)
Salary: £25,282 to £26,520 per hour (negotiable depending on experience)
