Warehouse Operative 0600 - 1400

Abacus Employment are proud to be working with Home Bargains and looking for warehouse operatives.

TJ Morris (Home Bargains) is a family run business, with their Head Office based in Liverpool. They have two large Home Bargains Distribution Centres with the largest being based in Amesbury.

The Amesbury Warehouse is one million square foot in capacity!

Details are as follows:

• Temp to Perm Contract

• Warehouse Picker – using an automated system – full training given

• Shifts available 0600 to 1400

• Free transport from Swindon - Amesbury

• Manual Handling - lots of progression and opportunities as warehouse operatives.

• No pulling pallets and cages around!

• Putting goods onto cages ready for store distribution

The role of Warehouse Operative involves using a caddy system. The caddy is pre-programmed to travel around the warehouse on a monorail system. Once logged into, the caddy will direct itself and you to the locations where the items that are required need to be picked.

Opportunities at Home Bargains include progression into other areas of the warehouse including Voice Pick, Loading, Dekit, Goods In and more

Hourly rate is £12.10

5 shifts out of 7 on a rota basis Monday – Sunday. This means you will work some weekends but not all of them!

37.5 hours per week

Candidate Requirements:

• You must be 18 years or older to apply for this role.

• Ability to understand Health and Safety procedures within a warehouse

• Good level of English required

• Positive can-do attitude

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work to targets

• Able to work well under pressure to tight timeframe
