Abacus Employment are recruiting for Drivers Mates for a great organisation based in Hayes. Reliable and proactive Driver's mate to assist delivery team in ensuring timely and efficient distribution of goods. The ideal candidate will work close with the driver, providing support during loading/unloading, while also ensuring that all deliveries are completed safely and effectively. This role is essential for maintaining high standards of customer service and operational efficiency. This is a Customer facing role.

Duties
- Assist driver loading/unloading goods from vehicle, ensuring safe handling of items.
- Help navigate routes and provide directions as necessary for timely deliveries
- Handle heavy lifting of goods, ensuring you use the correct technique to prevent injury
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations whilst on duty
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a warehouse or delivery environment is preferred
- Ability to perform heavy listing tasks
- Valid drivers licenceis advantageous
- Proactive attitude towards problem solving and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
- Flexibility to work varying hours as required
